Last night was devastating. Reading the Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey was a heart-wrenching moment for me.
I decided to run for office when the Casey decision came out. As a lifelong advocate for reproductive rights, I’m speechless. Although this is not law, it shows the direction the court is going in and it scares the hell out of me.

This opinion overturns an essential right to self-determination and overturns a precedent that has been the law of the land for nearly half a century.
I can’t say I’m shocked, but I am incredibly angry and ready to fight back.
