Late last night, Politico reported that the Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.

A leaked draft opinion shows that the court is on the verge of wiping out the constitutional right to an abortion that's been the law of the land for nearly 50 years.

We knew this day would come, but it still hurts. And we know what will happen next:

The instant Roe is overturned, abortion could be illegal in 26 states. And Republicans are already plotting to pass a nationwide ban on abortion if they take back control of Congress and the White House.

This is what's at stake in this year's election. Several of the conservative justices have lied to the U.S. Senate, ripped up the Constitution, and defiled precedent and the Supreme Court's reputation. The Republican Party is now completely the party of Trump. And we can't afford to let them regain a morsel of power in the Senate.
