Dear John, One of the blessings of serving as Human Coalition’s president has been meeting incredible supporters and friends – people like you. Your heart to protect preborn children from abortion and end the atrocity in America is making a huge impact in the fight for life. YOU are serving women facing unexpected pregnancies; YOU are helping rescue their children; and YOU are cultivating a culture in America that cherishes every human life. All of us at Human Coalition are inspired by you and are grateful for you. I recently had the privilege to sit down with two of Human Coalition’s amazing supporters, Adam and Bethany. We talked about their passion for pro-life movement and why they choose to partner with Human Coalition. Talking with them encouraged me, and I thought it would encourage you, too. Below are some of the highlights of the conversation I had with Adam and Bethany. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read through the dialog below and hear from fellow prolife champions like yourself. Jeff: How did you first hear about Human Coalition? Adam: About six or seven years ago, I attended a pro-life event and afterward felt an overwhelming desire to give myself to [the pro-life movement]. As a business owner, I often think in terms of return on investment, and the fact that you as an organization use data to track what works and to track the effects of different tactics is captivating for me. What is a more powerful metric than babies rescued? Jeff: Has the issue of life always been something you're passionate about? Bethany: Yes. As a single woman, I did some volunteering at the local pregnancy center. I don't know that I could be a Christian and not be pro-life. It's just so integral to God's heart and His work. Jeff: Why do you continue to support Human Coalition? Adam: We want to invest in the most vulnerable of people... the unborn. The things that have drawn us to [Human Coalition] are: 1) The ability to intervene in the decision-making process of moms seeking an abortion; 2) The scalability of the model with telecare and the ability to expand partnerships through state funding; and 3) That [Human Jeff: What would you say to donors or volunteers that are on the fence about getting involved in pro-life ministry? Adam: I just want to encourage anyone that is considering how to invest their time and finances, that there are not a lot of things that matter as much as saving children who might otherwise be killed. And I particularly appreciate Human Coalition because you're laser-focused on saving children and doing so in a holistic way that serves families. I hope hearing from other supporters about why they give encourages you. Sometimes it’s just good to be reminded that this movement to protect preborn children is so much bigger than any of us. But also that there are many, many more likeminded people out there fighting alongside you. People like Adam, Bethany, and you are what make the pro-life movement strong and why the tide is turning for life in America.
