Last night, news leaked that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade.

In 1973, Roe set a precedent for the constitutional right to an abortion and protected millions of Americans’ reproductive health care. But ever since, Republican lawmakers have been working relentlessly to reverse the decision.

Twenty-six states are expected to ban abortion if Roe is overturned – more than a dozen have trigger laws that will go into effect almost immediately.

That’s why we’re launching the 1973 Action Fund – a project dedicated to electing pro-choice Democrats who will be on the frontlines defending reproductive rights.
