I come to you on this somber day after news broke about the leaked draft U.S. Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade. Nearly 50 years of federal legal protections for women and girls will be gone in a matter of weeks. 

Ohio has already passed a 6-week abortion ban, but that's not enough for extremists in Ohio's state legislature. Just last week, a bill that would completely outlaw abortion WITHOUT EXCEPTION, had its first committee hearing. 

These are very dangerous times for our rights and our democracy, .

All across the country, state legislatures will be the battlefield for reproductive health rights, workers' rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and voting rights. If we don't fight this extremism and elect more Democrats here in Ohio, we risk losing these rights for good.
