Politico Headline: Supreme Court has voted to overturn abortion rights, draft opinion shows. "We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled," Justice Alito writes in an initial majority draft circulated inside the court. >>>

I know we were all faced with this devastating news last night, and many of us are still processing today. But as we navigate this new reality together, I wanted to briefly share with you some of my thoughts.

Abortion is a right. It's as simple as that.

Should this decision hold, it will end a half-century guarantee of federal constitution protection of abortion rights and leave the right of choice to the states.

To be clear – this is a draft opinion, and the first time in modern history where it has been disclosed publicly while a case was still pending. This is unprecedented, this is appalling, but this is not yet final.

Abortion is still legal, the right to choice still stands, but this opinion shows us that we cannot let up the fight.

We will need more pro-choice members in the Senate and the House to codify Roe. So I am asking you today to make a donation and help me keep our pro-choice majority in the House. >>> [link removed]
