Last night, a draft opinion from Justice Alito was leaked showing that the Supreme Court will likely overturn Roe v. Wade in the coming weeks.

Let me be clear: This ruling is an attack on our rights to freedom and privacy, and we cannot let this go without a fight.

As a Montanan, I stand by our state’s proud history of supporting the right to privacy. But with recent legislation restricting abortion access and this new ruling on Roe v. Wade -- we’re inching dangerously close to having abortion outlawed entirely in our own state.

I will ALWAYS support a woman's right to choose. It's shameful that a conservative leaning court would mandate forced pregnancy and birth in a country with one of the highest maternal mortality rates and no national maternity or paternity leave -- all while the GOP undercuts policies like comprehensive reproductive care and the Child Tax Credit.

If elected, I’d be the only pro-choice woman representing Montana at the federal level. And you can bet I'll do everything in my power to fight for a woman's right to choose.
