Hi there,

Last night it was leaked that the Supreme Court has intentions to strike down
Roe v. Wade. With the right-wing makeup of the Court, we expected this may
happen, but that doesn’t make this draft decision any less disturbing.

It is a dark day in American history, as millions of women and families must
prepare to have the freedom to make decisions about their health care ripped
away. Women in America deserve better. Women in America deserve to have their
basic rights protected.Roe v. Wade needs to be codified, and we need to keep a
Democratic majority to ensure that happens.Chip in $30 now to keep the house
majority to fight back against these assaults on women’s rights!

I’m proud of California for being a leader in statewide abortion rights,
however some women aren’t so lucky. Women in Texas, Oklahoma, and far too many
other states are suffering. The rest of the nation may soon follow if we don’t
fight back.

We must fight harder than ever to protect a woman’s right to access abortion
care safely and legally. I have been a champion for reproductive health in
Congress since I entered, and I’ll continue fighting to preserveRoe v. Wade and
protect access to safe and legal abortions for all people.Chip in whatever you
can to keep my seat in Congress safe, so I can continue to fight for a woman’s
right to choose.
