I wanted to reach out about the news that the Supreme Court is poised to overthrow Roe v Wade.

Today is a terrifying day for many of us and the culmination of some of our greatest fears.

If this ruling goes into effect, it will be a direct assault on millions of women’s freedoms to control their own bodies. This is no longer just a threat - 26 states are ready to quickly pass laws to dictate what reproductive healthcare a woman can or cannot receive.

I voted to codify Roe into law because women, not government officials or Supreme Court justices, have the right to control their own bodies. I stand behind my support of Roe with everything I’ve got.

The stakes in this election have changed. If you’re as angry as I am, I need you to chip in to our campaign so we can fight back.
