We are excited to celebrate the end of year with our annual AYD Holiday Brunch!

We’ve had a great year and it’s time to show our appreciation for one another. We’ll come together to celebrate our accomplishments, give out awards to our stellar members, and swear in the newly elected executive board!

This year’s brunch will take place at William Jeffrey’s Tavern (2301 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA, 22204) on December 14th from 11:30 am-1:30 pm.

As mentioned above, at the brunch we will present the following awards to AYD members:

· Community Service Award
· Campaigner of the Year
· Unsung Hero
· 2019 Member of the Year
· Honorable Warren G. Stambaugh Outstanding Democrat of the Year

The Arlington Young Democrats, in partnership with Equality Virginia, call on members and allies to volunteer for this important Equality Means Business campaign, which seeks to find local businesses willing to pledge that they will not discriminate against their employees or customers who are members of the LGBTQ community!

Our Arlington community is one of the bluest in the Commonwealth, and it’s time we start living our values through our businesses. But we need help getting the word out!

Volunteer to help AYD contact local businesses in Arlington (in person or by phone) to tell them about this important campaign and help them join! We will provide all volunteers with a sample script to get you started. Sign-up here!
