John,

Earlier this month, the House passed a 10-year reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank, a transparent form of corporate welfare that congressional leaders in the two major parties love.

To give the Senate more time to pass it, Congress just tacked a short-term extension of the bank on to government funding bill that will keep the bank operating until December 20.

What is the Export-Import Bank?

The bank, often nicknamed “Boeing’s bank,” is a federal credit agency that helps finance purchases by foreign buyers of U.S. products—most often the products of large, well-connected corporations that don’t need any help, but that can afford the lobbyists and campaign donations necessary to get their corporate welfare reauthorized. U.S. taxpayers assume the financial risk for these federally backed loans while a few well-connected corporations pocket the profits.

Once again, you’re being forced to use your tax dollars to support corporate welfare—and both parties are behind it.

Justin has led the fight to abolish the Export-Import Bank and end corporate welfare.

Will you help?

Let Washington know that you support abolishing the Export-Import Bank! Add your name here >>> <[link removed]>

Add Your Name: Abolish The Export-Import Bank! <[link removed]>

Our goal is to let collect 1,000 signatures in the next 24 hours. The long-term authorization bill is still headed to the Senate—tell Washington it’s time to end corporate welfare and to let the bank die!

Please let Justin know where you stand by adding your name.

Thank you, John.
