Dear John,

I know I’m catching you late. But tonight Politico reported that the Supreme Court may be set to overturn Roe v. Wade by leaking a draft ruling. I wanted to quickly share my thoughts with you… 

As it currently reads, the draft opinion is constitutionally strong. If it becomes official, the Court would be fulfilling its duty to uphold the nation’s Constitution by rightfully returning the ability to protect life in the womb to the American people.  

Reading this draft gives us hope and encouragement that the Supreme Court may indeed soon reverse its devastating decision in Roe...thereby enabling states to protect moms and children from the horror of abortion, both now and for many years to come.    

It’s important to note that this is not a final decision. Roe has not yet been overturned. It will be important to continue to look to the Court for it’s final decision.  

If the reversal becomes final, the pro-life movement is ready to care for these families. Human Coalition and other pro-life organizations have been working tirelessly to expand and strengthen the National Rescue System to care for more moms and rescue more children from abortion. The pro-life movement is ready for this moment! 

Right now, we urge pro-life champions like you to fervently pray… 

Pray that this is indeed the decision that will be handed down by the Supreme Court and that Roe will be struck down and completely overturned. 

Pray for each of the Justices on the Court. Pray that a majority would stand firm in their convictions for life and that the Lord would strengthen their hearts and minds.  

And pray for our pro-life partners in the movement for life and for everyone on the front lines in this lifesaving fight.
