Kansas Court Strikes Down Gerrymandered Congressional Map
John – A district court just struck down Kansas Republicans’ gerrymandered map for diluting the vote of Black and Hispanic voters in and around Kansas City. This is great news! But the fight for fair maps continues outside of the courts, and with the 2022 elections coming up in just over SIX MONTHS, we’re running out of time.

Our movement has seen success in several states – but in others, Republicans have convinced the courts to let the 2022 elections proceed on gerrymandered maps. And some states still have to adopt their maps. The bottom line is that the redistricting process isn’t even close to finished and we have to stay vigilant.
