As always, your support for our fundraising efforts made last month a success. We owe it to you that we’re going into May in a strong position to assist Democratic candidates after their primary elections.

As we head into the summer, November may still feel like it’s a long way away. But we’re running out of time to make the general elections successful for North Carolina Democrats — and the stakes are too high to sit back and relax.

Should Republicans gain a supermajority in the legislature, they will be able to enact a radical agenda that simply isn’t what most of us want for our state. They’re willing to go to any lengths — including passing anti-voter legislation designed to make it harder for some of us to cast a ballot — to hold onto their power.
