John,
Thank you so much for your support over the last month. Because of you, we managed to hit both our major filing deadline and our critical campaign end-of-month goals.
Your support means so much and will help ensure that, together, we can continue our important work in the Governor’s Office next year. And just look at what we accomplished recently: we passed a supplemental budget with broad bipartisan support that will send $850 relief checks to about 858,000 Maine people to help with high costs from inflation - one of the strongest relief measures in the country.
We may not be able to control the global markets or fix worldwide supply chain disruptions, but we can make sure that Maine people have what they need to grapple with these rising costs – and this supplemental budget is just one way we’re doing that.
I’m going to continue working hard for the people of Maine because we can’t go backward and lose our hard-fought progress.
Thank you again for everything, and let’s keep moving forward.
-Janet Mills
