Dear John,

Eid Mubarak! I pray that you and your loved ones are enjoying this day of celebration and togetherness.

Since the earliest days of America, the White House has acknowledged the presence and practice of Muslims around the world. With the exception of the previous administration, the White House commemorated Eid with a celebratory dinner for 20 consecutive years.

Today as we resume this tradition, I will join American Muslim leadership for dinner with our President and First Lady. MPAC’s advocacy is cornered on representing your interests in the halls of power. Though we have prepared points on issues that impact us most, I wanted to quickly ask— what would you say to the President and his advisors?

Kindest Regards,

Mohammad H. Ali
