A leading gubernatorial candidate recently suggested to supporters that I should be “going to jail” because he somehow objects to my management of Minnesota’s elections.

His comments are bizarre and irresponsible; a cynical attempt to use extreme conspiracy theories to radicalize political supporters.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this type of hostility and it won’t be the last. Disinformation activists are getting louder as the election gets closer.

That’s why it’s critical we have the resources to fight back against this disinformation. We need to raise $10,000 this week to correct the record. Will you chip in now?

The truth is that Minnesota's election system is fundamentally fair, accurate, honest, and secure. The voters of Minnesota showed their confidence in our system by making us No. 1 in America in voter participation for the third time in a row.

It's also non-partisan, and I’ll always work to keep it that way.
