“Scott Jensen suggests jail time for Secretary of State Simon in speech to GOP voters” - Star Tribune

John,

A shocking audio clip uncovered over the weekend shows leading MN GOP gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen saying he would push to send MN Secretary of State Steve Simon to jail for doing his job to oversee the 2020 election. Here’s the full quote:

“And Steve Simon, you maybe better check out to see if you look good in stripes because you’ve gotten away with too much, too long, under Ellison, and the hammer’s coming down.”

John, anyone who is still echoing Donald Trump’s Big Lie and threatening to use their power to retaliate against their political opponents is unfit to hold elected office – let alone the highest office in our state. It’s up to us to hold the line, and we need all the help we can get.

Our next public fundraising deadline is May 31, and the stakes just got A LOT higher. We need your help to start the month off strong! Can you chip in today to stop this Republican Party from retaking power?

Thank you,

Team Walz-Flanagan
