Since I’ve embarked on this journey to run for Congress in NC-4, we’ve assembled an amazing movement and team:
* I’ve been endorsed by progressive change-makers like Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and Rep. Pramila Jayapal.
* I’ve assembled an amazing team of staff and volunteers who have called EVERY SINGLE PRIMARY VOTER IN THE DISTRICT and are working towards knocking all their doors too.
* And I’ve received donations from over 14,000(!!!) grassroots donors.

But even with this amazing support, it hasn’t been easy running for office as a 28 year old Muslim progressive woman.

Super PACs funded by fossil fuel money and billionaires are spending over a million dollars to defeat me.
