Beginning tomorrow, several key Democratic primaries will determine whether a pro-Israel or anti-Israel candidate is elected to Congress.
In Ohio-11: The polls close tomorrow night and Congresswoman Shontel Brown must be reelected.
Congresswoman Brown stood with our community and championed pro-Israel values since her election last year.
Anti-Israel candidate Nina Turner, Rep. Brown's opponent, is backed by Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
Turner would be the newest member of the Squad and would weaken the U.S.-Israel relationship if elected.
Strengthening our friends: In this race and others around the country, AIPAC members have stepped up in major ways.
More than $5.5 million has been contributed through the AIPAC PAC Portal to help pro-Israel candidates in key districts.
This represents a significant portion of the total resources raised by the campaigns.
Why our work matters: Growing bipartisan support for this essential alliance is an American value we are proud to champion – and we proudly stand with those who stand with us.
Anti-Israel candidates and their allies are now trying to use our community’s support against our friends. They want to disqualify us, and pro-Israel leaders.
We know we must never relent from our mission to strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship.

Report raises alarm over Iran's growing executions

Executions in Iran rose by 25 percent in 2021, a report by two leading NGOs said Thursday, expressing alarm over a surge in the numbers executed for drug offenses and also the hanging of at least 17 women.
"We don't have rule of law and due process in Iran, even when people are sentenced to death... They haven't had a due process," says Prof. Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam of the Iran Human Rights NGO.
"We have been seeing, in recent years, increased attempts by Iran and its proxies, as well as Hamas for that matter, to try and lure Israelis over social media...[They] reach out and give you a friend request, and that is then used...to try and recruit these Israelis...to gather intelligence on people of interest or even carry out terrorist activity."
