Chapter meeting notes + votes

Notes from the 11/9 chapter meeting can be found here.
Since we did not have quorum at the meeting, we will be taking votes online on two matters that were discussed at the meeting:
- Formation of an official committee to revise chapter bylaws.
- For more information about why bylaw revisions have been proposed, please see page 2 of the chapter meeting notes.
- The goal will be to have initial draft bylaws prepared for review by membership by January 25, 2020.
- Endorsement of two socialist candidates running for House of Representatives seats in NC-01 and NC-04: DeAndre Carter and Daniel Lockwood.
- DeAndre's responses to our candidate questionnaire can be found here. If you have any additional questions, please contact him at [email protected].
- Daniel's responses to our candidate questionnaire can be found here. If you have any additional questions, please contact him at [email protected].
Since these votes will affect the future Triangle DSA, only members in the Triangle (Chapelboro, Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding at-large members) will be eligible to participate in these elections.
