"Sheltering Hope": Invitation to Premiere of Short Film
Dear Migrant Clinicians Network partners, friends, and supporters,

We are delighted to invite you as a special guest to our world premiere of Sheltering Hope: Migrant Families at the Southern Border, a seven-minute film celebrating the courageous and compassionate professionals, volunteers, and staff who work at border shelters from San Diego to Brownsville. They shared their laughter and tears, and their beautiful stories with us – and we would now like to share their stories with you and honor their hard work.

The short film, produced by videographer Diane Weidenkopf, was the result of a journey across the border that I took with Deliana Garcia, Director of International Projects and Emerging Issues at Migrant Clinicians Network, in summer of 2021.

Our premiere will take place on Facebook Live, and we would love for you to attend! This film would not be possible without the incredible support of all of you -- Migrant Clinicians Network’s board, staff, and diverse funders and supporters. Please join us to celebrate these incredible workers, just as their tremendous and much-needed work is growing at the border once again.
