Dear Supporters, Registration for PAVe's 2nd annual Clear the Vapor Conference is now open. PAVe is so proud to have the American Heart Association, a leading force for a world of longer, healthier lives, as one of our lead sponsors. With nearly a century of lifesaving work, the Association is dedicated to ensuring equitable health for all. To help combat the tremendous toll tobacco use and nicotine addiction have on our country, the Association supports policies such as providing adequate funding for tobacco cessation and prevention programs, eliminating flavors in tobacco and nicotine products, implementing or increasing tobacco taxes, expanding smoke-free air laws, raising the minimum purchase age, and ensuring strong government oversight of the manufacturing and marketing of all tobacco products. These policies can lead to significant reductions in tobacco use and result in health and economic benefits. Through the American Heart Association’s “Tobacco Endgame” movement, young people ages 13-24 can directly support these campaigns. |
