John,

Last Friday night, the Minnesota legislature passed a bipartisan bill to provide $500 million in direct payments to frontline workers and $2.7 billion in tax relief for small businesses.

I was proud to sign this bill, because this is exactly what One Minnesota is all about – rising above the politics of fear and division and getting things done for people. We have a lot of work ahead of us. But I know as long as we continue to come together to face our challenges head-on, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

That’s why I also wanted to pass along some more good news today. The numbers are in, and thanks to the support of thousands of Minnesotans across the state, we not only reached but exceeded our campaign fundraising goal for April.

John, it means so much to know you have my back, and I can’t thank you enough.

With gratitude,

Tim Walz
