Today marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, so I’m celebrating Eid Al-Fitr.

From my family to yours, Eid Mubarak! May you have a blessed celebration.

Muslims around the world are celebrating breaking our fast with our families and friends. I appreciate Islamic teaching that after you take care of your home, you must take care of your community.

May those of us celebrating in peace and safety say special prayers for Palestinians and others who cannot celebrate because they are forced to live amid violence and oppression.
