Dear John,

On behalf of AFSC’s Palestine Program, I want to express my thanks to everyone who has donated to help purchase school supplies for children in Gaza.

If you know the excitement of having new supplies at the start of the school year, you know something of what a gift like this can mean. Children of families living in poverty and under an ongoing blockade can’t afford the basic supplies needed to enroll in their primary schools. To be able to give a child a new uniform and a bag with basic supplies like pens and paper really does mean a lot.

The generosity and kindness of the AFSC community helps us respond to immediate needs while working for long term change. Thank you for helping us show the world what love can do.

In peace,

Dawood Hammoudeh
Palestine Program Manager
