Hey John, Team Vilela here.
Amy wouldn't be where she is today without the support of her sister, Senator Nina Turner. It was Nina who helped Amy find her voice after her daughter, Shalynne, died at the hands of our broken, profit-driven healthcare system, and they’ve had each others’ backs ever since.
Nina was campaigning with Amy in Las Vegas during her first bid for Congress in 2018, then again this past February for our current race. And Amy was on the ground last summer in Cleveland with Nina and her team getting out the vote during her special election. Now, tomorrow, voters in Cleveland are going back to the polls to choose their 2022 Democratic nominee for OH-11, and our movement has another shot to elect an unparalleled champion to Congress.

Dark money Super PACs are once again pouring ungodly amounts of money into defeating Nina, and those very same groups are also backing Amy’s corporate-funded opponent.
With practically unlimited funds sourced from big oil and other special interests at their disposal, they’ll do whatever it takes to prevent Nina from winning tomorrow—and if they succeed, they will be all the more emboldened to inject their dishonesty and attacks into our race here in Las Vegas.
We have a secret weapon, though: people-power.
But it’s up to all of us to flex that power and keep the corporate establishment at bay. A win tomorrow in Cleveland will be a win for all of us, and it will give Amy that much more momentum in our final stretch before early voting begins in Las Vegas on May 28th!
So, if you haven’t already, John , can all of us here at Team Vilela count on you to split a contribution between Amy and Nina Turner right now?
In Solidarity, Team Vilela
