Congressional Partners Spotlight
Rep. Victoria Spartz, IN-05 ([link removed])

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz immigrated to the United States in 2000 after meeting her husband Jason, a born and raised Hoosier, on a train in Europe. She became a US Citizen and worked her way up from being a bank teller to a CPA, finance executive, successful business owner, and Indiana State Senator.

Growing up in Ukraine molded her conservative political philosophy that limited government is always better, and financial and healthcare decisions should be made by individuals in the free market, not bureaucrats and special interests.

Rep. Spartz worked in the Big 4 public accounting firms for Fortune 500 companies, taught as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and served as the CFO at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office.

She currently serves on the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary and Education and Labor committees.
Rep. Yvette Herrell, NM-02 ([link removed])
Born and raised in New Mexico, Yvette Herrell represents the state’s largest congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is a member of Committee on Natural Resources and Committee on Oversight and Reform. On Natural Resources, Herrell serves on the National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands Subcommittee and as Vice Ranking Member of the Energy and Minerals Development Subcommittee.

Before she was elected to Congress, Herrell served four terms in the New Mexico House of Representatives (2011-2019) where she helped found the Article V Caucus to restore federalism and curtail growth of the federal government.

Herrell strongly believes in the Right to Life and the Second Amendment. An advocate for an ‘all of the above’ energy policy, she is actively engaged in efforts to protect New Mexico’s oil and gas jobs from the Biden administration’s anti-fossil fuel agenda.
Rep. Tom Emmer, MN-06 ([link removed])

Congressman Tom Emmer was sworn in for his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives on January 6, 2015. He is currently serving his fourth term.

Tom was elected by his fellow Republican colleagues to join the House GOP Leadership team as the Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee for the 116th Congress and again for the 117th Congress. Currently, he sits on the House Financial Services Committee. He is also a member of the Republican Deputy Whip Team and the House Republican Steering Committee.

Born in 1961, Tom grew up in Minnesota and attended St. Thomas Academy. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and his JD from William Mitchell College of Law.

Before coming to Congress, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2004-2008.

Rep. Greg Murphy, NC-03 ([link removed])

Prior to entering politics Murphy’s, professional career had been primarily one of clinical practice and administrative leadership positions. His surgical practice site is Vidant Medical Center, a 1,000-bed level 1 Trauma Center, which serves 29 eastern NC counties.

Dr. Murphy was recruited to serve in the North Carolina House of Representatives and did so from 2015 to 2019. During his second term in the General Assembly, he was asked to serve as Senior Chair of Health Policy and Chair of Health and Human Services Appropriations. While he was successful in getting a variety of legislative items passed, his greatest focus was on helping reduce the tragic impacts of the Opioid Epidemic. He also led efforts to combat waste, fraud and abuse in the state’s Medicaid system which saved the state hundreds of millions of dollars during his tenure.

Murphy was officially sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives on September 15, 2019. He now serves on the Ways and Means Committee, and is a member of the Health and Oversight Subcommittees.
