John, I just got off the debate stage where I squared off against Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux and Georgia State Rep. Donna McLeod in the first televised debate in this primary election. We had a very spirited back-and-forth on the issues in this race, and with early voting starting tomorrow, now it’s up to the voters in Georgia’s 7th District to decide who should be our next Congresswoman.

Now, John, I know that just a fraction of voters in the primary will have tuned in to catch the debate, so we need to make sure we’re talking to voters everywhere we can – with our TV ads, radio ads, digital ads, at the doors, on the phones, and via text messaging. All of that voter contact takes a tremendous amount of resources, so we have a series of daily fundraising goals to hit to stay on track and win this race in the next 24 days.

My finance team just pinged me to let me know we need to raise another $810.50 tonight before midnight to stay on track to fund our GOTV operation, which starts tomorrow with early voting getting underway.
