I was here in the old CD 24 running against Republican John Katko when no-one else would step up to the plate. I was here – and living in the district -- when it was the “New CD 22” and others moved into the district to run for office when it looked like an easy win. The lines are being redrawn once again. I’m here now telling you that I will be running in the new district no matter what, to represent our neighborhoods when others may run off and leave for greener pastures. I was the only woman in the race when this all started, and I will probably be the only woman in the race now.
