If you observe Ramadan, I hope you and your family and loved ones found time to reflect and find peace.

Every year, I look back on the past year and resolve to make changes in the coming one. After weeks of praying, fasting, and reflecting, I feel renewed in my efforts to help build a brighter future for everyone, here in Minnesota, across the country, and around the world.

A future where no one goes without a roof over their head or food on the table, and where we all have a fair chance at achieving our dreams.

I hope you, too, have been able to use this time to think about the future you want to see for yourself, your loved ones, and your community.
