Indivisibles,

Recently, we’ve seen Republicans renew their strategy of using cultural issues aimed at marginalized communities to galvanize their base and divide the people. Whether it’s book bans, “Don’t Say Gay” bills, or purposeful misrepresentations of critical race theory, culture wars are being used as a direct attack on solidarity between those who are not both wealthy and white.

To defeat this strategy, we must form a broad, multiracial, grassroots coalition committed to crossing those divides in order to defend democracy.

The Indivisible People of Color (POC) Organizing Caucus and We Make the Future present Race, Class, Gender Narrative: Creating a Broader “We” on Thursday, May 5 at 11am ET/8am PT. Over the last year, right-wing lawmakers, advocacy groups, and media machines have conspired and organized to use Critical Race Theory (CRT) as a smokescreen to misinform, sow division, and divert focus from the real problems at hand. Join the Indivisible POC Organizing Caucus and We Make The Future for a special three-hour, interactive training on how we can utilize race, class, and gender messaging to build bridges and create a multicultural working-class coalition that mobilizes our base and persuades people in the middle.

We grow as a movement when we learn from each other. Use this incredible opportunity from the POC Organizing Caucus to grow your understanding of building bridges so we can create lasting infrastructure for a movement of, by, and for everyone.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

Indivisible is a locally-led, people-powered movement of thousands of local groups in red, blue, and purple states, and in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our mission is to cultivate and lift up a grassroots movement of local groups to advance progressive values and policies.

Grassroots donations, not foundations or large gifts, are our single largest source of funding. That means we’re accountable to, and fueled by, Indivisibles on the ground. Chip in $7 to keep fueling our movement.
