lifelong Texan.
I wanted to personally let you know that I’m officially joining Beto’s
campaign as National Finance Chair.

John, I’m proud to be part of
the team that’s going to make sure this campaign has the resources,
support, and backing necessary to finally turn a corner in Texas.
When my mom, Ann Richards, ran for governor of Texas, she won by building
a coalition of people who had been left behind by state government for far
too long.
Now, Beto is doing the exact same thing as he travels to every part of the
state with a focus on improving public education, creating good-paying
jobs, and expanding access to affordable health care.
His vision for Texas is positive and unifying — but I also know that as
governor, he’ll serve as the last line of defense against extreme attacks
on reproductive rights, civil rights, voting rights, and workers’ rights.
But Beto can’t win this race alone. This is going to be one of the most
competitive elections in Texas history, and Beto is counting on our
support every step of the way.
