Team, The upcoming midterm elections are going to be the most consequential in a generation – and we’re calling on our supporters to commit to voting in the 2022 midterm elections today.
Our Democratic Majority is made up of just about five seats in Congress. That means we can’t afford to have a single Democratic voter sit this election out. But a new NBC News poll found that GOP voters are 17% more enthusiastic about voting in the 2022 midterms. If this is true, Republicans would have a massive advantage headed into the November midterms. We need to ensure that Democrats in every state turn out to vote in the midterms. With midterm election season underway, will you commit to vote in the 2022 midterms and help defend our Democratic Majority?
Political experts are already predicting Democrats could lose the House and Senate this year. But their predictions are based on low voter turnout, and we KNOW our grassroots team isn’t planning to sit out an election that could make or break our Majority. What happens in the midterms – specifically in competitive NewDem races – will determine whether or not we hold on to our razor-thin Democratic House Majority, so we need a headcount of everyone on our team planning to vote in November:
