Our president could once again shut down the government at the end of the year unless he gets the money for his biggest vanity project yet: the border wall. Instead of learning from his last government shutdown failure, when the longest shutdown in American history left thousands of government workers without pay for over 35 days, our president is instead rejecting common sense and reason for blatant partisanship. My colleagues and I have secured a funding deal until December, but after that, there’s no telling what could happen if the Trump Administration shuts down the government again.
