Hi John, it’s Jahana here.

Now that we are only six months away from the midterm elections, I wanted to reach out to you personally to explain why it is critical we win this race.

Since being elected in 2018, we have made huge strides for our district and Connecticut as a whole. From expanding access to affordable healthcare to fighting to eliminate school hunger to bringing federal Covid relief dollars to towns and cities, restaurants and local businesses, I have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of everyday people in our community.

But John, everything we worked so hard to achieve will be GONE if Republicans take the House – and the path for them to do that runs right through the 5th District.

The GOP believes that if they win this race, they can break our Democratic majority in Congress. That’s why they’ll stop at nothing. The Republican National Committee has opened a Headquarters in Connecticut for the first time ever and they’re already spending millions on attack ads to spread misinformation about me and the work I’ve done. Just a few days ago, they launched a new ad attacking me with a fear-mongering spin about the Covid relief I brought back to CT.

Despite all this, John, I know that when I have the support of real people in the community- like YOU- there is nothing we can’t do. That’s why I am urging you to make a donation to our campaign before midnight tonight.
