John,

May is going to be an exciting month for our campaign. We’ll be holding our campaign kickoff in just a few days, hosting events across the district, and kicking things into high gear.

But before we enter this exciting phase of our campaign, we’re facing our end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why it’s crucial we hit our goal.

We can't hold the House majority without winning my seat here in WA-08, but I am facing my toughest fight yet. National Republicans have named my seat a top target to flip and now four conservative Republicans are running against me. On top of that, a Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC announced this week that they were spending $3.9 million in our district to defeat me.

Reaching every goal we set is critical to ensuring we have the resources necessary to fight back and build another winning, grassroots campaign. I'm not accepting a dime of corporate PAC money, so I'm counting on grassroots support to push us over the finish line before midnight tonight.

Will you chip in before our end-of-month fundraising deadline to help me defend my seat and our Democratic House majority? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Kim
