Hi John,
In just two days this special month will be Rama-DONE and Eid is only a date away! We seerah-ously cannot believe it... (insert LOL here).
All jokes aside, although the calendar date will move on, our intentional reflections should carry on throughout the year. One key reflection that is often shared widely in Ramadan is -- what is our role in our communities? How can we best serve in our own way? What is our superpower? |
Our superpower is curiosity. Curiosity offers us a moment to have courage to ask what if? And take on the challenge to be bold in our solutions. In the past, we have asked:
What if we invested in training, uplifting and supporting our rising change-makers? Change-makers who will go on to run historic races and emerging leaders who will go on to become industry leaders.
What if we invested in building a foundation for Muslim-led organizing? Strategic organizing guided by scientific voter data to increase voter propensity and ensure our community is a part of every operation of our electoral process.
What if we invested in strategic advocacy efforts from the grassroots to the grass tops? In the center of politics in Washington, D.C., and in states with constituents like you and me to move the needle on the policy priorities that Muslim Americans care about.
The courage to be curious has opened so many opportunities to be creative in our approach and defy the limits that have been set before us. Will you make a donation today to support this spark of curiosity?

We shared our superpower...what is yours?
