Donald Trump is at war with American democracy, and by now, you know that he’s made Michigan’s 2022 midterm elections the frontlines of his disgraceful fight.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump scored a huge victory at last week’s Michigan Republican convention when the Michigan GOP backed his picks for Attorney General and Secretary of State.

Let’s be clear. These candidates are far, far out of the mainstream. Both support the “big lie” that the 2020 election was stolen, and one even asserted that police officers at the Capitol on January 6th were “crisis actors.”

Friend, the Michigan Republican Party might be too afraid to stand up to Donald Trump and his blatant attacks on democracy and our freedom to vote, but we can’t be.
