John, We’re about a third of the way through 2022, and thanks to you and patriots like you, we’re spearheading some of the most consequential First Amendment cases of our time…and winning.
Last year, with your support, the Center for American Liberty secured huge victories for the First Amendment.
You helped us fight and WIN critical religious liberty lawsuits like Tandon v. Newsom and two others at the United States Supreme Court.
You continue to help us fight for parents’ right to choose how and where to educate their children in Brach v. Newsom.
Your support is helping us take on Twitter, Senator Padilla, and activist bureaucrats in California for colluding to censor conservative social media influencer Rogan O’Handley, in O’Handley v. Padilla.
And you continue to help us fight back against Antifa with a landmark lawsuit on behalf of citizen-journalist Andy Ngo, who was brutally attacked multiple times by Antifa thugs.
But I hope you’ll agree with me that the only way to prevent the kinds of totalitarian mandates from happening in America again is to make sure the politicians, bureaucrats, and elitist Big Tech CEOs are FULLY brought to justice.
Here’s why I’m asking you for a tax-deductible contribution today.
Late last night, we filed an important motion for summary judgment in Givens v. Newsom.
This lawsuit challenges Governor Newsom’s blanket prohibition of your right to protest under his COVID-19 shutdown order.
You may recall, Gov. Newsom and his cronies blocked Ron Givens from holding a peaceful, socially distanced, pro-Second Amendment rally outside on state Capitol grounds citing “health safety” hazards.
Of course, Gov. Newsom only really wanted to shut down free speech for those critical of his totalitarian mandates.
He sure didn’t attempt to shut down the freedom of assembly rights or free speech rights of the radical Antifa and BLM protesters who destroyed cities all along the West Coast.
And our argument in the upcoming motion simple…
Constitutionally, the governor NEVER has the authority to issue a blanket ban on the constitutional right to protest or use political speech in public.
But that’s not all.
We’re also making major ground in our legal action against the activist teachers and school administrators in the Spreckels Union School District who targeted and groomed a 12-year-old girl into believing she was bisexual and transgender.
But, John, each of these major developments cost money…
And they’re all critical to preserving your freedoms, my freedoms, and every American’s freedom to speak, think, and act freely.
That’s why I’m asking you to chip in a gift of $33 or more today.
As a non-profit law firm, we rely entirely on your generosity.
And with one third of the year already up, we need you to help us sustain our legal battles throughout the rest of 2022.
Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Harmeet K. Dhillon Please consider supporting our efforts to defend our Constitution with a donation today.
