Hi John,

When we lost by just 333 votes in 2020, I was devastated. Losing an election is hard, but knowing that Mike Garcia would only serve his own ends and not the will of the people was harder.

But that old saying, "don't mourn, organize" kept playing out in my mind and I knew I needed to keep fighting.

It's simple: the people of this district are worth fighting for. The opportunity for every single person to live a life with dignity is worth fighting for. The right of our children to live on a habitable and healthy planet is worth fighting for. Our democracy is worth fighting for.

That's why I'm asking you to chip in $5 or more TODAY — the last day of our end-of-month fundraising push — to be in this fight with me. Together, we can build a system of government that puts people over profit and goodness over greed. >>> Representing the people of this district is a privilege. It should never be taken for granted or left in the hands of those who would choose to serve their own selfish ends over the well-being of constituents.

Unfortunately, the current representative of CA-27 does not agree — that's why he takes money from the fossil fuel industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and corporate PACs that finance his campaign.

John, CA-27 deserves so much better than that.

We can build a better future for us, our children, and future generations – but we have to be willing to fight for it. As a grassroots campaign, I need you in this fight with me.

Chip in $5 or more before our critical end-of-month deadline at midnight so CA-27 can have a representative who has the people in mind, first and foremost. >>>

Thank you for standing with me and the people of CA-27.
