This weekend, with friends and family by my side, I took the oath and officially filed for reelection in California’s 49th District!
Since my first day in office, it’s been my honor to fight for the changes that our community needs and deserves. With your help, we’ve made progress to protect our coastlines from offshore drilling, we’ve taken the first step in addressing the nuclear waste storage issue at San Onofre, and we have passed eight bipartisan bills to support our veterans.
We have so much more work to do, and our campaign will only get tougher in 2020. But time and again, you’ve been right there with me every step of the way. This is a true grassroots movement, and I’m excited to defend this seat and continue making progress together.
November is typically a slower month for fundraising. That’s troubling because we’re tracking short of our $25,000 end-of-month fundraising target.
