Early voting has started all across North Carolina. People are casting their ballots for Cheri as we speak, but we need to reach more voters to make sure we have a strong showing before the primary.
You see, right now, failed former Governor Pat McCrory and Washington insider Rep. Ted Budd are fighting it out in a bitter primary. The attacks get lower and they are running further to the right by the day.
Meanwhile, we’ve been focused on coalescing support and building a strong organizing operation headed into the general election.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to keep doing as early voting starts because what we’re able to accomplish right now will make a huge difference when the votes are counted in November.
We’re making big investments right now in places that Democrats have historically underperformed using the old failed playbook — including our rural communities — because Cheri will never take a single voter for granted. If we want to expand our majority, it’s so important that we lay the groundwork now for a historic victory in November!
