Disinformation defense has become a major aspect of our work in recent years as deceptive, anti-immigrant content proliferates on platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp.
United We Dream Action is creating defense strategies to fend off these targeted attacks and dispel anti-immigrant disinformation narrative — but we’ll need your help to spread our message and arm people with the knowledge to cut through disinformation.

We recently released the findings of a study taking a look at what type of anti-immigrant narrative is out there, how it’s being weaponized against our communities, and what media members of the Latinx community are consuming in this moment.
The research proved how urgently needed our work is. We need to get out there and engage with young people if we want to see them engage with us in the 2022 election and much more in the 2024 election — or else we risk losing them to weaponized, racialized disinformation campaigns waged by bad actors.
Young Latinx voters could be the difference-makers come Election Day, which is why we need to intervene now and fight back against the rapid spread of disinformation.
