Hi John,

I know it's the last day of April and you've gotten the urgent updates from my team about our end-of-month fundraising deadline. And they’re right, it is urgent and vitally important we meet our end-of-month goals but I had a few minutes today so wanted to send you a message.

I got into politics for children, for families, for workers, for our health care, and for our economy. And over the last 10 years, I think we've gotten a lot done.

From championing the expanded Child Tax Credit, to providing support for millions of working families, to fighting to expand affordable housing production by strengthening the low-income housing tax credit – my focus from day 1 has been to make sure every American has the opportunity to succeed.
