John,
It’s Coby, Josh’s Campaign Manager. In a moment, I’m going to ask you for a contribution, but let me first explain why.
Look, I know we send a lot of emails, but trust me, they’re working.
Since launching our campaign in November, we’ve pulled in thousands of individual contributions to our campaign, with two-thirds of them at $50 or less.
We’ve paired our grassroots fundraising success with exciting endorsements and on-the-ground energy, and it scared our opponents so much that they filed a frivolous lawsuit against our campaign to try and throw Josh off the Democratic Primary ballot.
Well, we’re beating back this undemocratic attack on our campaign, but we still have some legal costs to cover, and that’s why our April end-of-month deadline is so important.
Now, in just a few minutes I’m going to give Josh a call to update him on our end-of-month fundraising numbers, and I want to give him good news.
I was just running the numbers, and we are still $1,436 short of our goal. Can you please rush a contribution of $5 or more to help get us back on track?

We’ve said it before. These goals aren’t arbitrary. Every single benchmark we set is purposefully thought out based on what we need to do to win this race and bring our Upstate New York values to Washington.
So, if you’re with us all the way, can you pitch in $5 or whatever you can today? I wouldn’t be asking if it was not so important.
Thank you,
Coby Eiss
