PFLAG Parent Day 2022

In a year when officials from the State House to the school board have criminalized parenting, PFLAG parents and caregivers have risen up in support of their LGBTQ+ loved ones and for their communities. Join us on Sunday, May 22nd at 2pm ET/11am PT for PFLAG Parent Day to honor and celebrate all people who lead with love for LGBTQ+ youth!

The second annual PFLAG Parent Day event will feature the stories of courageous LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, parents and caregivers, plus appearances by Big Freedia, Cody Rigsby, George Takei, Matteo Lane, MUNA, Tommy DiDario, cast members from Hulu’s LOVE, VICTOR and many more to be announced. Visit pflag.org/ParentDay to learn more and set a reminder to watch on PFLAG National social feeds.

Military families with LGBTQ+ dependents have a unique set of challenges. Moving every few years means reevaluating the cultural norms, laws, schools, and support of LGBTQ+ people at each location. It can feel overwhelming trying to find support for your LGBTQ+ child and yourself. At Ease: Support for Military Families with LGBTQ+ Children and Teens, a new publication (available in both English and Spanish), offers valuable information designed to help families navigate the military system and find the support that their children— and entire family—need.
