Friend, it’s Tammy Duckworth. I’m reaching out today to personally ask you to make a $5 contribution to support my re-election campaign.

Here's the truth:

Tonight, we close the books on our April end-of-month fundraising deadline and truthfully, we are pacing well behind on our fundraising goals.

If we don't reach those fundraising goals by midnight tonight, it will be much harder for us to run the campaign we need to win. That will make it even harder for us to hold this Senate seat and our slim Democratic Senate majority.

I will do everything in my power to make sure we keep this seat so I can continue to advocate for working families, Veterans and marginalized communities across Illinois and across the county. But I can’t win this race alone. I am counting on you, friend, to stand with me and show the press, the 8 Republicans who declared to run against us and this team the strength of this grassroots campaign.

Can you rush a contribution of $5, or any amount you can afford, to my re-election campaign before our end-of-month deadline? It would mean a lot to me and a lot to this team.
