Before the holiday begins, I’m putting in a few extra hours on the phones.

Friend, Thanksgiving preparations are in full swing around our household. Things are already a little chaotic, and that’s before my family gets together for the holiday feast.

The spirit of this holiday—taking the time to reflect on what you’re grateful for—means a lot to me, especially when so many things seem wrong in the world. So while I’m getting ready for a big feast, I’ve got something else gratitude-related to take care of: making phone calls to say thank you to folks on this team.

It’s critical to me that we build this campaign the right way by making real connections with Kentuckians. We fund our campaign through grassroots supporters chipping in a dollar, ten dollars or whatever they can—but not by big checks from powerful interests. That’s how we win an election like this.

I’ll be making calls the next day or two to let folks know how much that support means to me. I hope I can count on yours as well—chip in before our monthly deadline and keep your phone nearby. You might just get a call from me.

Thank you,
Amy
