In a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a donation to my re-election campaign before our end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight. But first, I wanted to share why this 2023 governor's race is so important.

Over the last two years, we've made a lot of progress for Kentuckians. We've restored voting rights to hundreds of thousands of Kentuckians, fought this pandemic, had the best economic development year on record, and so much more.

The future of our Commonwealth is too bright for us to not fight as hard as we can for it. That's why it's crucial we win this governor's race next year to protect and expand upon the progress we've made, but it won't be easy.

In 2019, we won this race by just over 5,000 votes. I already have two Republican challengers, and a wealthy, self-funded opponent may soon enter the race. It's clear we have a tough re-election campaign ahead of us.
